Mountain Family Shoot | Durango family photographer | Durango Photographer

Meet Rob, Sara, Ani and Jude.  Well, actually, you have met this lovely little family before.  Sara is very smart and gets pictures annually to remember all of those precious little’s stages.  They wanted some true mountain landscape and lots of Aspens to surround their family this year.  And, I think we got em!!!

YAY the shooting season begins and I couldn’t think of a finer family to kick it off with!  You may recognize Rachel and Alexandra from Durango but maybe not their littlest, Elizabeth, who was born after they moved.  Rachel was one of my very first family clients in Durango.  We became friends through photography, love that, and I was thrilled of course when she asked me for a shoot of her and her beautiful girls in their new hometown of Houston, Texas.  It was a super nice warm and sunny morning for a shoot that only Houston can provide this time of year:<)

Thanks so much Rachel, it was so great to see you guys again.  Your girls are lovely.  Can you pretty please move back? really…seriously…not kidding…

Fall Family Shoot | Durango Child & Family Photographer

I can not think of a better way to end the season and end the year of shooting than with a full on Snow Shoot!!! Yeah

I was so excited for the day and especially for the family who booked their session, very cleverly, way in advance.  And, to come up with a day like this!  Awesome!

We planned on quintessential Colorado…the Colorado Trail of course:<)

Aren’t they just a gorgeous family???

Fall Family Shoot | Durango Child and Family Photographer

You may recognize this lovely family.  This is their third year in a SABphotography Fall family shoot.  I love my clients!  I had an idea for a lifestyle shoot in their home to make it personal, until I realized they had just moved…maybe next year guys…

Sooo, we met in the park on an almost wintery day.  Love the skateboarder coming through!
