Seth + Katherine Wedding | St. Ignatius Catholic Church

Long awaited sneak peek into a lovely Church wedding that I adored.  I love when the couple includes and honors the Lord in their communion.  No better way to start really.

Many congratulations and best wishes to the Kat and Seth and their families!

Without further ado…

Wedding Sneak Peek | Katherine + Seth

Just a quick sneak peek into a lovely wedding I shot end of June…

It was a sweet, romantic, traditional one with all the trimmings…

Much and many more to follow…

Chris + Tarah WEDDING | Irma J Ranch | Durango Wedding Photographer

I think you will agree this story was worth the wait… The images will speak for themselves and it is so very late but I should just say that it was soo very cool shooting a wedding on this Amazing piece of property.  The have done such a great job retooling the place.  Even the old truck runs.  The details are numerous from the antique bar and instruments to the slick flat screen TV’s against a window revealing the old brick of the log cabin.  Nothing was left untouched.  A sauna, an outdoor proper loo,  a bridal lair.  I mean I could go on and on… antique stoves and sewing machines and top hats all amidst the finest of comforts.  I am loving the old with the new!  And, I can’t forget the views.  REAlly, you are surrounded by Aspens and the Hermosa Cliffs.  It is just spectacular.  I think they may be renting out as a wedding event venue for all you brides:<))

In any case, these are really cool people from Alaska with roots in Durango.  Chris and Tarah are just, yes, meant to be.  They were apart for the few years while Tarah was in pharmacy school in Portland.  She graduated and now they will make their home back in Anchorage near both of their families.  Sweet for all eh?  We had a great day, blessed with sun.  Everyone really had a good time at this one…

Chris + Tarah WEDDING Sneak Peek | Irma J Ranch

OMgosh, this is one of my fav weddings yet!!!!  This Bride & Groom, this family, just so fun and down to earth.  And, well what else would you expect… a family with roots in the area, from Alaska, here for a destination wedding.  The family bought the historic Irma J Ranch over a year ago, built a gorgeous home on the site all the while renovating the old barn, cabin and even truck keeping true to the area and its history.  The story continues… The Bride’s parents got married here and bought especially it to convert to a wedding venue for their daughter!!!! I love it!!!  I do believe this lovely family will be renting their venue out in the future… so stay tuned.  There is a barn with an antique bar, a log cabin perfect for catering, dancing.  Even, an outdoor movie size screen and outdoor sauna!

Here is a tiny peek into the couple’s Bride & Groom shoot….

Much, much more to come….
