Carlos + Cortney | Durango WEDDING | Durango Wedding Photographer

This destination wedding took place in the middle of our unseasonably unusual monsoons!  It poured my whole drive up to Silver Pick; skies were grey, clouds were low and I was going over my rain gear and indoor lighting the whole way.  I was expecting to find some sort of doomsday preparation going on when I arrived at the Bride’s suite at Purg Lodge.  But, to my pleasant surprise, I found the Bride as cheerful as could be and her entourage from Houston the same!  Amazing!  By the time everyone was dressed and we were ready to head out for some Bridal party pics, the sky was clearing, clouds were low as you will see here.  And, then, the clouds lifted and the sun came! ahhhh!  It was quite a moment.  It was a lovely wedding filled with emotion and love:<)

Thank you Carlos and Cortney for letting me be a part of your day.  And, thanks to God for clearing the sky:<)

Newborn, Child & Family Session | Durango Photographer

I just love this sweet little family.  I have been capturing their growth since Max was in his mommy’s belly.  This was shot at the family’s new home in Mancos, Colorado.  They were originally headed to Durango, but it got to big for them.  I tend to agree.  Mancos is quaint, quiet and all Colorado!  Thanks again for allowing me into your home and your lives…stay in touch.  xxxooo~SAB

Darryl + Lynia Engagement Shoot | Durango Wedding Photographer

This fun session was on a private estate in Vallecito with a rushing river and Pines galore.  I should also mention the black bear we saw… yikes

This sweet and in love couple are from Denver and I will be shooting their wedding in the same location next summer.  They have a really great story starting at Durango High School, mutually separating during college and coming back together… I truly hope my girls are as mature and wise.

Thank you so much for your patience during my busy season.  I think  you’ll agree it was worth the wait.

Graham + Danielle WEDDING | Durango Mountain Resort | Durango Wedding Photographer

Another beautiful destination wedding in our lovely little town.  This super fun couple and their entourage brought a little city life and color with them and made for a beautiful wedding with black and powder blue as their colors.  The sky was amazing, you will see here, and believe it or not there was NO rain!  Very nice families joining as one.  The daddy daughter dance images are some of my fav.

Enjoy and cheers to Graham and Danielle as they begin their lives as one as well.  Thanks for including me in your special day:<)  ~SAB
