Justin and April are in love.  I mean really in love.  It was a gift to be a part of their special ceremony marrying 2 cultures, 2 special people.  The blessings of the food and cake by April’s family and the ceremony led by Justin’s father and all of the special toasts inbetween…

They shared with me their wedding envisioned as traditional with a slight whimsical twist.  Note the attention to detail with Justin and his groomsmen’s lime green tennis shoes that matched perfectly with the bright green detail in the girl’s bouquets.  Loved it!

Congratulations you two and enjoy your lives together in the big city of Chicago. FUN!

Where to begin… How about at the beginning… Will and Amanda are the quintessential Durango couple.  She a biologist and he a fishing guide.  It was so awesome that their son Ben and his cousins and friends were such a big part of the ceremony and that they included fly fishing rods as the prop, they served SKA beer, Zia was there with their always fav taco bar, homemade apricot jam as favors, a local bluegrass band, and I felt like I knew half of their friends!  It was really a memorable one.  Thanks to Will and Amanda and Ben and their lovely family.  Here’s to big catches in B.C.  Thanks to my second shooter/assistant, Heather from Heather Phillips photo, and foremost to God for His grace.
