We just saw the film last night and it is really really good. It is an inspirational  heartwarmer.  And, you will totally connect on so many levels.  I could feel Diane Lane’s character, Penny Tweedy, love of her family and children and her struggle to follow her inner voice and just trying to balance it all!  Mom’s will totally feel it.  Go see it!  You will love it!  The whole audience clapped after the film last night, you just don’t see that happening at every movie.

Walt Disney Movie “Secretariat” to feature SABphotography images

Finally!!!!! I am able to release the name of the Walt Disney film that will be using several of my mountain landscape images!!!!!

Pixel Magic hired me to take Rocky Mountain landscapes to be used as a backdrop for several stills of the “Tweedy House” for the heartwarming movie “Secretariat”.  These stills will be used 4 different times during the movie fading in and out to introduce scenes.  The images you see here were “mocked up” or merged together before the house was superimposed in front of them.  So Hollywood right?  The house is actually meant to be in Littleton, Colorado (suburb of Denver) and Pixel Magic and Walt Disney Studios actually sent me to Denver as well to get the Denver peaks but ended up happy with the local mountains I took originally.  I also took Spring and Twilight shots of the same locations you see here.  You will see those as well in the film.  Once the film is released I will be able to share the actual “mock ups.”  But, here is a sneek peak of the locations used!!!

The movie is being released October 8!!!! Go see it and cheer for your local photographer!

WALT DISNEY Studios Denver mountain shoot

here are just a few images from a 2 day shoot in Denver.  Walt Disney Studios sent me to Denver to capture some of the Denver views for an upcoming film.  I still am not at liberty to disclose the name of the film, but will be very soon, so stay tuned!  the shoot was a blast and included some memorable shenanigans.  for example, taking a call from Pixel Magic on a curb and the police quickly arriving…parking illegally to scope out a location and walking out further than originally intended, police arriving again and searching my car(hatchback left open), me running toward them tripod in hand, quickly dropping tripod and i fear they make think it a gun, lol…getting atop the state capitol anyway when all the tours are booked and opening windows to shoot(your really not supposed to do that)… the list goes on…thankfully, i made it back to durango in 1 piece:<)
my first love is portraiture and events, but commercial work really pays the bills. to book a session with SABphotography contact me at sabrinabrantphotography@gmail.com
